Le Luxembourg vers une certification

Futher Certification

On 19 November, the Association for the Protection of Data in Luxembourg (APDL) organized a conference in collaboration with the CNPD and the Ministry of the Economy on certification as part of the general regulation on data protection.

Certifications represent a new opportunity for processors and subcontractors to demonstrate that their processing complies with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

After a few words of welcome from Mrs. Nathalie Sprauer (President of the APDL), François Thill from the Ministry of Economy gave a presentation entitled « Towards a data economy ». The intervention of Mr. Christophe Buschmann, commissioner of the CNPD, focused on the certification scheme « GDPR Carpa ».
